Applications

• Chemical synthesis: Production of soap, detergents, dyes, pharmaceutical intermediates, and refining of petroleum products.
• Textile printing and dyeing: Scouring cotton fabrics to remove impurities, and adjusting the pH of dye baths to facilitate dye adhesion.
• Water treatment: Neutralizing acidic wastewater, precipitating heavy metals, or desulfurization and denitrification of flue gas.
• Others: Removing oxide films from metal surfaces, pulp production in papermaking, and food-grade prills can be used for edible oil refining and container cleaning.
